Apache Cocoon 2.2.0 Released

After too many years of development, Apache Cocoon 2.2.0 finally arrived. As I wrote in  Cocoon 2.2: A new architecture a lot of things have improved. There is also a Getting Started guide that  helps you with you first steps. Have fun!

My current fields of interest are:

  • the modularisation of web application
  • modelling of software engineering processes (methods, tools) so that it meets customer and project specific requirements
  • rewrite of Cocoon called "Corona"
  • Javascript in the browser, in particular Mootools
  • object oriented databases
